“A great photo is not just about technicalities like lenses and lighting. It’s also about having the right person who understands what you’re looking for and how to capture that special moment.”
Hello and thank you for your interest in me as your potential photographer! It’s always nice to put a face to a name before you meet someone, especially if you’re planning to meet at a location for a shoot so you know who to look for! I also want to tell you a little bit about why I love what I do, so let me introduce myself.
I’m Sabrina, mum of two little girls who love posing for me, most of the time. I live with my husband in West Sussex, and we consider ourselves incredibly lucky to be in a beautiful location. If you have never lived or visited the South, do it. The South Downs are lovely and the beach and the horticultural gardens are priceless.
Where it all began
When I was younger, I was always taking photographs of family and editing them, and in 2011 my parents bought my first entry-level Digital SLR Canon. After I finished college I moved to Cyprus and started up a photography business which I ran for two years. On my return to the UK I rebranded my business and had our first daughter soon after; as a result of her arrival I started experimenting more and more with different styles of shoots, for example, newborn, outdoor family portraits, cake smashes, milk baths and Disney themes.
The digital image and how it can be manipulated has always interested me. I started with landscapes and wildlife, then became more interested in portraits and how to photograph families, newborns, and weddings successfully, simply because I enjoyed it. I look forward to every single shoot, because I love meeting clients and working with them to give them the images they really want, as well as capturing beautiful memories they will look at and treasure for the rest of their lives.
